Dark Joseph Ravine Becomes a Children’s Book Author with the Release of “Watch Out! It’s Nolan!”

Dark Joseph Ravine, influencer and business owner, has just released his first children’s book, “Watch Out! It’s Nolan!”. The idea behind his book is to teach the intended audience the concepts of treating people the way you want to be treated and “how your actions have a way of coming back to you”. Growing up being bullied and teased, Ravine rose above his experiences and hopes to help children rise above bullying, as well. The childhood and teenage stages can be a major struggle for many children due to the desire for social acceptance. Children can often make the wrong choices when it comes to how they treat peers who are different than them. Ravine’s book aims to teach us how kindness in schools can make a major difference.
Ravine has always wondered why children place so much importance on getting in with the popular crowd and less emphasis on being themselves. Why not be the one who starts a new trend, he asks? Ravine believes in being a leader, not a follower. Followers are often preoccupied with finding favor with the leader and may end up making choices that are harmful to themselves and others. Although this stage does not last and children eventually move forward, it is important to encourage them to be true to themselves, which means they do not always have to follow the crowd or mimic others. “When an action or behavior is associated with someone else, why repeat it in hopes that you would get the same results as the person who did it? You should do things differently to achieve different results,” says Ravine. He notes the cross referencing from his book. There are bad things constantly happening to everyone who is picking on Nolan, including his classmates, teachers, and parents. Nolan seems different than everyone else and tries to ignore the bullying. He attempts to let nature run its course and not fight back. Although rising above negativity can greatly improve the quality of life and has many benefits, Nolan does eventually tell the principal how he feels by explaining how the bullying is causing his lateness and making him not want to come to school. A solution is found and the bullying stops.
Ravine hopes his book will convey that bullying is never okay, and that harming someone else will not make a bully feel better or happier. Ravine strongly encourages kindness and positivity as means of achieving success.
